About the Branch –

Each year the Branch holds an AGM at which elections are held to appoint the Branch Executive/Negotiators and confirm Reps for the coming year. Any member can get involved in the Branch as a Rep and there is a full training programme available via UCU Activist Education Programme – https://www.ucu.org.uk/training  The Branch are also allocated hours that can be awarded to Reps for remission from teaching to carry out their roles.
